“You’ve set the bar very high!”

November 24, 2013

“Whether for cold fruit smoothies to hot coffee to get the day started or great margaritas or fantastic tico fare in the evenings or key pieces of great advice to help navigate to help navigate the local scene, Victor and Over were there to help see to our every need. Thanks for your friendly presence and constant effort and availability which helped make our stay at Villa Perezoso a tremendous experience! You’ve set the bar very high! Can’t wait for our next visit.”Raj H., Los Angeles, CA (Feb. ’11)

“We have never been pampered as much in our travels.”

“What a surprise! We were greeted warmly at the Quepos airport and with the cold drink at the Villa as promised. Incredible house and staff. We have never been pampered as much in our travels. How can you explain the food, jungle and climate as anything but perfect? We enjoyed a different dining experience every night from Victor and Over as well as a jungle show that was different from monkey to monkey from bird to iguana. We had a howler monkey in the tree outside our window wake us up, the capuchin monkey would hop on the terrace and attempt to steal the avocados and bananas. What a show! Very relaxing and refreshing. The Villa would be great for a family reunion or a couples get away. Thank you for a great stay. We look forward to our next visit.” Bill C., Santa Rosa, CA (Jan. 11)

“Pura Vida”

“5 year anniversary trip. As we arrived from Tamarindo couldn’t imagine a bigger surprise. Victor and Over waiting for us patiently to greet our arrival with the most personal of touches. The single male howler in the tree outside also seemed to sense our presence. He continues to serenade us most mornings and sits outside the shower view. Frequent visits by the white faced monkeys and trio of toucans is always a treat. The place is obviously beautiful, we travel frequently but truly believe this will be home in a few years. You can not describe “Pura Vida” other than seeing it and feeling it. Thanks for everything and see you soon.” Angela G., Georgia, (Jan. 11)

“Awesome!! Awesome!!…..

…. It was so much more than we ever expected! The Villa is just BEAUTIFUL!  Over and Victor treated us so well with the utmost of professionalism. Our trip was made complete with the sighting of some sloths (perezoso’s) yesterday. This has been one of our best vacations EVER! Thank you so much.” Debbie H., Windsor, CA (Jan. 11)

“Life on occasion offers us incredible surprises…

…to be received for 6 nights in a wonderful villa that cultivates refinement down to the smallest details. Everything is harmonious in this house thanks to the attentive staff. One of the best thing about visiting a house is when you observe the owner’s personality stamped all over it. Villa Perezoso gives you this feeling : clearly charmed by Asia, the owners have imported most of the furniture from Bali and paid attention to every detail. As a result, the villa is perched on several levels of a densely forested hillside facing the Pacific ocean and provides a tasteful combination of comfort and elegance. Life at Villa Perezoso is perfectly balanced  between indoor and outdoor life. All rooms are equipped with private terraces offering panoramic views of the jungle and the Pacific ocean. Our king-size bed provided the ultimate wake-up view of the pacific ocean, jungle and tropical sky. The morning song of monkeys had been an unforgettable souvenir to me : who needs alarm clocks when you’ve got monkeys to let you know it’s breakfast time? Days here can be spent doing nothing at all or exploring the tropical surroundings : you must pay a visit to the Manuel Antonio National Park but also enjoy the black-sand beaches close to the villa . You will surely get a chance to see neighbours such as iguanas, monkeys … or simply relax by the pool with staff looking after you suggesting simple but classy drinks and a gourmet food mixing Costa Rican and international dishes. To me Villa Perezoso is a great combination for families or group of friends who want to explore the unique flora and fauna all around but, at the same time, are looking for chic design super-comfortable furnishings and a gourmet kitchen managed by an excellent staff.” (Translated from French) Claude M., Paris, France (Nov ’10)

“Thank you to all!”

“We had six nights and five full days of five star treatment in this fabulous residence. Some highlights: food was amazing, service impeccable, massage was best on the sundeck, Punto Cathedral hike in Manuel Antonio National Park is a must, but do not wear flip flops!, beaches are excellent–learn to surf, animals all over the place, showering overlooking the rainforest–great! Thank you to all!” Serif K., Istanbul, Turkey (Nov.’10)

“life is nothing but moments”

“If as Borges said,”life is nothing but moments”, you have provided such moments that deeper meanings are instilled into all our lives. Thank you for your cool command of every detail given to creating the Villa and thank you to Victor and Over, magicians both. Most amazing: the civilized and wonderous structure and way of living in the midst of a JUNGLE! Thank you.” Oya B., Istanbul, Turkey (Nov.’10)

“We enjoyed a magical week at Villa Perezoso….

…We could not have imagined finding an “oasis” like Villa Perezoso nestled in such a breathtaking rainforest. I have traveled many parts of the world and stayed at luxury hotels, eaten at elegant restaurants, but I can honestly say that the villa comes second to none to those places. The Villa met and exceeded our expectations for comfort and service. The food and drinks prepared by Over and organized by Victor have been outstanding. Everyday we were surprised with another wonderful dish. I recommend guests to let Over and Victor set the menu, they did an outstanding job! The company we were with made our stay that much more enjoyable. Jokes and humor tossed around were additional touches for this wonderful week. I hope guests who come after us will have the pleasure to enjoy in full what the Villa Perezoso offers.” Charlie T., San Jose, CA (Nov. ’10)

“a true Gem for all to see”

“My wife and I recently visited Villa Perezoso located in Manual Antonio, Costa Rica. The Villa is remarkably beautiful and extremely well appointed reaching a new definition for “Luxury” !!! As if this was not enough, it is staffed by an on site Manager (Victor), a personal chef( Over) and a housekeeper ( Cecilia). These three professionals provide a level of service far exceeding any resort, hotel or vacation spot that we have ever experienced. Victor is the consummate concierge catering to your every need. Over’s meals were fabulous, the presentation always impressive which when combined can best be described as “Over” The Top Culinary Delight !!! Cecilia maintains an impeccably clean household with attention to every detail. Add spectacular Ocean Views, Monkeys and Sloths at your door step plus a wide variety of Tours and Activities ( Victor will arrange) including close proximity to Manual Antonio National Park and you get a truly First Class vacation. We can’t wait to go back. We recommend this property as a true Gem for all to see.” Walt H., Bernardsville, New Jersey, (Oct. ’10).

“We are leaving here feeling pampered, relaxed and very spoiled”

“We have very busy lives but within 24 hours of arriving here I had forgotten what my blackberry was! Thanks for making this a fabulous vacation and for taking care of us so well. We loved the Villa which is such a tranquil place. Over’s cooking was so excellent, fresh and varied we never felt the need to eat out.  Cecelia’s attention to detail meant the Villa was spotless and beautiful–the folded towels, tissues and flower petals were a lovely touch. Victor’s professional, friendly and humorous style are unmatched. We are leaving here feeling pampered relaxed and very spoiled. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for making our vacation perfect!” Emma L., Texas (Sept. ’10)
